Visiocorp

Privacy and POPIA

What we collect, why we hold it, what we never do with it, and how you get it corrected or deleted.

This page sets out in full what clause 12 of our Terms and Conditions says in short. The two do not differ. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

Responsible party

Who holds your information

The responsible party is Touchline Agency (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2025/335979/07, a private company incorporated in South Africa, of 946 Morudi Street, Tlhabane, Rustenburg, North West 0309. Visiocorp is a trading name of that company. The sole director is K. R. Mogaki.

What we hold

What we collect, and why

We collect only what an order needs. If a field is not needed to quote, deliver, invoice or support the work, we do not ask for it.

InformationWhy we have it
NameTo address the quote, the agreement and the invoice to the right person.
Email addressTo send the quote, deliver the files or access, invoice you, and answer you.
Telephone numberTo reach you about a live order where email is too slow.
Billing detailsTo raise the payment request and to keep the accounting record the law requires.
The content of your orderThe brief, the recordings, stems, artwork, footage or data you send us — because it is the work itself.

We use it to quote, to deliver, to invoice, to support you afterwards, and to meet our legal obligations. We use it for nothing else. We do not build profiles, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you bought something.

Limits

What we do not do

Retention

How long we keep it

We keep your information while the engagement is active, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting, tax and company records. Once that period ends it is deleted or anonymised. The material you send us for a job — stems, artwork, footage, data — is kept while the work runs and for the revision window, and is deleted on request.

Your rights

What you can ask us to do

Under POPIA you may, at any time:

Write to david@visiocorp.co. We acknowledge the request within two business days and tell you in writing what we have done. There is no charge for asking.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa, which is the authority that supervises POPIA. Complaining to us first is not a condition of complaining to them.

The website

Cookies and tracking

visiocorp.co is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, carries no advertising or tracking pixels, and does not profile visitors. Reading these pages leaves us knowing nothing about you.

The one outside request a page makes is for the typeface it is set in, which is loaded from Google Fonts; your browser fetches the font file from Google in the ordinary way. Nothing else on the page calls out.

We only hold personal information about you once you send it to us — by email, or on an order.

Changes

If this page changes

Changes are published here, and the foot of the page carries the date it was last updated. Where a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold, we tell the clients affected by email.

Read with this page: Terms and Conditions (clause 12 covers personal information) and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

The notes

Market and industry notes from the desk

Written notes on the markets and sectors we work in, free to join. No fixed schedule — it goes out when there is something worth sending.
